Terms and Condition for Recheck Requests ICSE / ISC YEAR 2025 Examination
  1. Requests for recheck of marks awarded in a subject (s) to the candidates who have appeared in the current year's ICSE/ISC Examination, can be submitted to CISCE only through online mode.
  2. Recheck is Paid Service. For each Recheck, Schools / Candidates will be required to pay a charge of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) per subject / paper (as applicable) per candidate for the current year of Examination.
  3. The Online Recheck portal will be available for 04 (four) days from the date of declaration of results to register for the Recheck process.
  4. The accuracy of marks awarded in a subject will be checked on request, in one or more subjects, provided that the Head of the School / Candidate submits the application online. Applications for Recheck requests must be received by CISCE within the stipulated time.
    1. The recheck will be restricted to checking whether:
      1. All the answers have been marked.
      2. There has been a mistake/s in the totalling of marks for each question in the subject and in transferring of the marks correctly onto the grid on the cover page of the answer script.
      3. The continuation sheets attached to the answer script, as mentioned by the candidate, are intact.
    2. The Recheck will be carried out by a competent person appointed by the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE.
    3. On rechecking the scripts, if it is found that there is an error, the marks will be revised accordingly.
    4. The results of all the Recheck requests received by CISCE will be declared together on CISCE’s website - www.cisce.org
    5. CISCE will not be responsible for any loss or damage, or any inconvenience caused to the candidate, consequent to the revision of marks and no claims in this regard shall be entertained.
    6. The Result documents for candidates who have applied for Recheck/Re-evaluation will be released after the result of the Re-evaluation is declared.
    7. The Result of Recheck/Re-evaluation will be made available on the Digilocker as well.
  5. Applications for Recheck can be submitted only for the subject(s) in which the candidate took the examination in the current year.
  6. Applications for Recheck can be submitted for one or more subjects, to a maximum of subjects for which the candidate took the examination in the current year.
  7. Application for Recheck of the subject marks awarded to a particular candidate in a particular subject can be submitted only once.
  8. Payment for Recheck requests being submitted must be made online using the payment gateway provided by CISCE on the CAREERS Portal/Public Services Portal.
    • Payment once made shall not be refunded, except in case of a change in marks awarded to the candidate.
    • Payment refunds, in case of a change in marks awarded to the candidate, shall be made to the same payment instrument, which was used for making the online payment for the Recheck request charges.
  9. The decision of the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE on the result of the scrutiny and Recheck shall be final.
  10. The Online Recheck request submission happens in the following three phases:
    1. User Registration through Public Services Portal.
    2. Addition of Recheck Request.
    3. Payment.
